Five Must Have Items On Your Vehicle Graphics "Resume"

by Yuki Chan on July 7, 2016

Vehicle wraps or graphics are being used by businesses to help distinguish their vehicles from the traffic crowd and to raise people's brand awareness or to advertise their marketing campaign. A commercial vehicle with graphics is somehow like a resume, you want people to believe in your ability to deliver your offerings by reading that resume. What are the key pieces of information you would put on your resume? Below are five must have contents on your vehicle graphics, a vividly presented business resume:

1) Your Name

Your brand should be displayed on the sides and rear of your vehicle.  It should be presented for quick legibility from a distance, so plan font, size and contrast that is easy to read. That would immediately introduce you to your prospective viewers, many of whom are in your targeted audiences, about who you are even if they only make a quick glance on your vehicle.

2) Your Image?

If you are not a nationally-known brand, make our brand prominent along with your name. Your brand logo, along with your signature brand color, is the best portrait of your brand character, the beliefs and passions you hold onto for your business. It is a beneficial addition to your graphics that create a good initial impression of your brand.

3) Profession, Products or Services

In other words, what products or services do you offer? Sometimes, what you do has already been stated in your brand name, but when this is not the case, you should definitely show it. This is a great opportunity to showcase your offerings. Consider your vehicle a walking portfolio, you can show images of your work if you are a service business or use brief texts to illustrate the range of products you have available.

4) What Sets Your Business Apart

If you have a slogan or a service guarantee that best represents your business and your mission, go for it, put it on your vehicle graphics design.

5) Contact Information

But how can I reach out to you without your contact information on your resume? You would be completely losing your opportunity as people might not spend the time to search for you. At least put your phone number and website on your vehicle wrap design. Your contact information helps to encourage a follow-up action from a truly interested prospect (Learn more about Encouraging Viewers To Reach Out After Seeing A Vehicle Advertisement).
